Proverbs 31 is an acrostic poem, each line beginning with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet. This is to aid in memorization and to highlight an assortment of qualities. It is not, however, a random listing, but an organized presentation, concluding Proverbs with words of wisdom concerning the ideal wife.
