He wants us to have clarity regarding Jesus’ own teaching on the New Birth from the beginning of His Gospel account. It is Jesus Himself who said, “You must be born again.” The three interchanges between Jesus and Nicodemus answer three questions about the New Birth.

Jesus Replaces the Temple - Daniel Holmquist - John 2:13-25

The Apostle John records the inauguration of Jesus’ public ministry by narrating His prophetic actions at the Temple that first Passover in Jerusalem. During His time there, Jesus clears the Temple area of merchants and animals, proclaims Himself the true Temple of God, and draws many enthusiastic supporters. Jesus blazes with holy zeal for the glory of God as only the messiah Himself could do.
