This passage is reminding us of the new mindset that we now have being in Christ—His mindset. We best serve the church and the world by submitting ourselves to God and His purposes; and then, we will be honored along with Christ Jesus, our Lord. The Apostle Paul instructs us to focus on Christ, who is the Lord.
